I am the only candidate with customer service and management experience, having managed a governmental agency with approximately 1500 employees. I will reassess City Hall from top to bottom to ensure that waste is eliminated and services are delivered to the citizens at the lowest cost possible. We need to make use of new technologies and the internet so residents can report problems and know that they are being addressed. I would recommend using the Chief Monroe community policing model to have a City Hall employee assigned to each neighborhood, who will then go out into the neighborhoods and work with the citizens. This employee will be a direct contact for that neighborhood so those residents know they will not be lost in city bureaucracy.
